PEORIA, Ariz. - Evert Dale Waterhouse, 76, died peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2011, with his family by his side at the Hospice of Arizona in Peoria.
Evert was born on Nov. 19, 1934, in Hardin to Bruce and Matilda Waterhouse.
He attended the University of Washington, where he deepened his love for his family and sports.
He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1956. Evert worked for many years for Les Schwab in Missoula. He golfed, sang and played the one-string guitar every chance he got.
Evert was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Lorraine; and his son Michael.
He is survived by his wife Penny Harr Waterhouse; his daughter Heather Smith (Brian) and their daughter Teagan; his daughter Kelly Radford (Bob) and their children Stephen, Curtis, Steven and Kassie; and his sister Gloria Morris (Gordon) and their family. He is remembered by many good friends.
Evert was a good husband and a good father. He was a great friend and golf partner. He will be missed.
