DENVER – Born in Butte on New Year’s Eve 1943, the son of Larry and Mary McDonald, Terry passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, with his family by his side.
Terry was educated at Loyola High School in Missoula, and graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane in 1965.
His ROTC duties led him to a 22-year career (active and reserve duty) as an Army Ranger. He was a highly decorated colonel at the end of his military service.
He also managed several other careers during his working years, including insurance and property management. However his passions were family, friends, charities and handball. And he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; his loving sisters, Damien Dougherty and Timi (Bob) Burmood; sister and brother-in-law, Andra and George Cody; and many nieces, nephews and treasured friends.
Terry requested that there would be no formal services, but asked that you each keep him safely in your hearts and prayers.
