An 18-year-old man is being held on a quarter-million-dollar bond for a homicide charge related to the fatal shooting of two people Friday at a Missoula motel.
Preston Rossbach is charged with deliberate homicide and being under the age of 21 with possession of intoxicating substances. He was booked into Missoula County jail at 5:13 Saturday afternoon.
Missoula Police Corporal Michael Camerer would not comment on the nature of Rossbach's involvement in the shootings, which sent a third person to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police are still seeking Jonathon Whitworth, 27, who was identified Friday as a "person of interest" in connection with the killings at the Mountain Valley Inn on West Broadway Street.
A man and woman were both found dead at that motel with gunshot wounds just after 1 a.m. Friday. Another man, according to police, was taken to the hospital with "serious injuries."

Later that day, authorities issued a release naming Whitworth as the lone suspect, believed to be armed and dangerous and last seen on foot in the Lolo area.
Missoula Police Sgt. and Public Information Officer Travis Welsh said in a press release Saturday that Whitworth had also been reportedly seen in the Stevensville area.
"Do not approach as Whitworth may be armed and dangerous," Welsh wrote Saturday.
The Missoula Police Department said late Friday authorities had responded to two false reports from people claiming to have seen Whitworth. The Missoula County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post Saturday they had not received any credible information that he is still in the area.
Anyone with information regarding Whitworth's whereabouts is asked to call 911. Additional information can be submitted to Detective Mark Blood at (406)552-6281.
