Sheriff releases name of Missoula man killed in Highway 12 crash

A 41-year-old Missoula man who was killed in a motorcycle accident on U.S. Highway 12 west of Lolo has been identified as Christopher Tucker.

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Department released the man’s name early Monday.

Tucker was driving west toward Lolo Pass when he lost control on a bridge at mile marker 8, crossed the center line and sideswiped an eastbound Ford, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

The driver of the Ford was not injured.

Tucker was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and landed on the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
