The Women's Fair will be held in the University Center Ballroom on the third floor of the UC on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. The fair provides resources to help women flourish and succeed - whether it's education, home improvement, parenting, safety, finance, fitness, leadership, beauty or career advancement.
During the fair, women can visit the local exhibitors to explore products and services that influence them and their families while enjoying a day of fun and entertainment. This is a free event for all to attend and coincides with International Women's Day on Monday, a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future.
Local massage therapists will be providing massages and tarot card readings will be given by local experts for $1 a minute which is donated to the nonprofits. A few local bachelors have donated their time and talents to sponsor date packages which will be presented as silent auction items to raise funds for the nonprofits.
A wide variety of entertainment, music, dance, self-defense and fashion shows from the YWCA Secret Seconds Stores and J. Elaine's are featured throughout the day. Summit Cheering Athletics will take center stage at noon with three teams performing diverse routines; a performance by Rocky Mountain Ballet is at 1:30 p.m. There will be multiple performances by belly dancer Kelli Neumayer, as well as a tap performance from Missoula City Clickers.
