I moved to Missoula on Nov. 21, 2009, to marry a beautiful young lady here. It was my first time in Montana after living for many years in the Boise, Idaho, area. I love the way the mountains are all around the city. I love the Griz football fever here just like the Boise State football fever in Boise. I got a great job at the Super Wal-Mart, from store manager Becky on down - what great people to work with.
I ended up having to have major back surgery at Community Medical Center. I had a great surgeon. Dr. Day and his assistant, Kevin, were the best, and the hospital staff was great. I played softball on the Gateway Credit Union team with a bunch of great guys.
I've had great luck with the local businesses here. We bought a car from Karl Tyler Chevrolet and got great service from Hide and Sole and Hellgate Cyclery. And I love to swim at Currents. I love to bicycle all over the town and love the roundabouts. We have great landlords in Ron and Mikey and great neighbors. People here are so friendly and there's always so much going on downtown and at Caras Park. I love to ride my bike along the river and love to see so many people out doing the same.
So folks, that's why I love Missoula. What a great place to live.
