Christianity: Letter showed ignorance of Trinity

  • 0

In reply to Richard Miller's letter (April 11): He wanted to know who would worship a God who had his son crucified. Obviously he doesn't know Christian doctrine.

We believe in a triune God. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all the same God. Jesus took our sins to the cross, and although he was fully man, he is also fully God. Only his mortal body perished that day, and he was resurrected on the third day.

He now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven: He is and always will be fully alive.

If he has a problem understanding the Trinity, consider the egg. It has three components - the shell, white, and the yolk - but it is still one egg.
