It appears we, as a nation, are having a hard time with reality. Many of you are demonstrating, daily, that you are so smart, you know more about a situation than our fellow citizens who happen to have the actual facts to work with in regard to decision they have made. What am I talking about? The Ferguson and New York City grand juries decisions.
You people who don’t like the decisions the facts demanded, somehow in your warped world, have inserted your feelings (that would be feelings, not facts) and decided the people who have the facts can’t possibly be doing the right thing. Have you allowed the twisted media representations and race baiters that thrive on and get rich on racial chaos, draw you into their sick world? In what universe is that logical?
Here are the most important facts that we should all be able to agree: If a person complies with law enforcement personnel, it is very unlikely you will be killed in the process. If a person resisted a law enforcement officer who is doing his legal duty, you might very well die, as in the case of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. These are more than facts, they are basic truths. Comply, you will live, resist and you may die. That is logical in any universe.
Many people in our society, including some in government, have tried to divide us using the race card (only used by racists, by the way), pitting men against women, sexual preference, economic status, and any other place they can drive a wedge between us. In what universe is it logical that we allow them to succeed?
Dig deep in your soul and find the common sense we all have within ourselves and re-establish a firm grip on reality, again.
