Thomas Jefferson said:
“Whenever a man has cast a longing eye on offices, rottenness begins in his conduct.”
“Whenever the people are well informed, they can be trusted with their own government; that whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them to rights.”
“The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object.”
“If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.”
George Washington said in his farewell address:
“If, in the opinion of the people, the distribution or modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates.”
We can continue to be lead down this road to tyranny or we can choose to stand up for freedom and liberty. The time is now call your state representative and state senator ask them to apply for an Article V Amending Convention of States.
