Considering all that your tree has gone through to provide your family some temporary holiday joy, the least that you, as a conscientious citizen, can do in return is to recycle your tree.

Your Christmas tree didn’t grow for many long years in all weather, get cut, trucked, sold and bought strictly for your brief enjoyment, just to be thrown by the dumpster. If you were able to take the effort to go out to purchase or cut a tree, make the same effort to drop it off for recycling (Playfair, McCormick, Fort Msla S. parking lot, or EKO Compost).

If you are not able-bodied enough to do so, please ask a friend or neighbor to include yours with their trip. I think they would be happy to help. It’s the least you can do for all it did for you; the dumpster is really no place for a Christmas tree.
