Rob Quist has the same colorful background as many Montanans, and he comes closer to representing real people here than the opposition by a long shot. Don't we have more than enough corporate Republican rubber stamps in Congress?
I hope you've noticed the many small print, large dollar advertisers for corporate favorites while denigrating Montana's U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, the only real representation Montanans have. This represents dark money, which infiltrates Montana to exert influence for out-of-state corporate interests. They could not care less about what Montanans want. And, of course, we have the ample ad budget of Quist's opposition, once again dominating our airways when he hasn't taken down his failed gubernatorial signage.
But he is just another U.S. Sen. Steve Daines rubber stamp vote for the party. Enough! There is virtually no difference in their stances from that of the entire Republican, anti-people party. They care about cutting their own taxes and cutting benefits from people who must have help to survive, including those lives they say babies have a right to. Their health insurance debacle makes it obvious their concerns are not for us.
Next, Republicans want to privatize Social Security and close public schools in favor of corporate interests taking over these currently well-run programs. Do not believe the propaganda advocating these changes.
