Far too often there are negative things to write in about. But I wanted to give a shout out to the University of Montana for truly raising the bar in customer service.

I left school to have my daughter and am now heading back to make good on my dream of becoming a teacher. I was understandably nervous starting the process again, both because it's been a few years and because my previous experience working with the university admissions office had left a bad taste in my mouth.

But to my most pleasant surprise, every single person I worked with this go-around was both a pleasure to work with and truly a student advocate. From the Curry Health Center to the head of the English Department, from the Financial Aid office to the Registrars office, they helped me through each step with patience, caring and even reassurance that "everything will work out."

I couldn't be more grateful to each of you for all of your help and hope you know you made a difference for me.
