I tend to over-think things, hoping to come up with a fresh perspective. But in my naïve attempt to be cute, comprehensive, concise and compelling, my conclusions are overly complex and confusing. It’s much simpler than that.
There is a common thread running through all of the problems that we encounter, whether it’s the Middle East, Washington, Ferguson and all points in between.
It is the failure to accept responsibility for our own actions and the need to blame someone else. This has become the prevailing attitude that we see wherever we look. And it is not a recipe for either a healthy individual or a healthy world.
