A recent letter from Beth Cogswell (March 23) in regard to Sarah Palin is “right on.” This woman left her post as governor of Alaska, not because she needed more time with her family, but because she saw she could make more money flouncing around “writing” a silly book (who wrote it?) and making people believe she is a fine example for young women. How are the teens in her own household doing?
She appears to me as an aging teen queen who has lost her bearings. By that, I mean she has brought five children into this world. They are still very young. However, she is concentrating on the pursuit of the almighty dollar instead of the Almighty.
Perhaps when her children are grown and she has matured she might be a useful candidate for something. She is like a huge percentage of Republicans who cannot grasp the big picture. That percentage includes George W. Bush and all his cronies, including Karl Rove and Rush Limbaugh. These people all have tunnel vision with no light at the end.
