Eddie Zimpel, I recently read your letter to the editor (May 10) regarding Denny Rehberg’s supposed drinking habits, which I found as a mixture of speculation and intellectual insipidness.
From hereon I would advise you to address specific topics or issues, don’t stoop to personal attacks and try, as difficult as it may be, to take the high road. Writing claptrap as you did only polarizes people who then will not take anything you say or write seriously. Letters such as yours, whether they come from the left or right, remind me of playground name-calling that happens in elementary school.
I appreciate that you support an opponent of Rehberg’s, but civility is always appreciated and keeps the dialogue open. And I say this to you in a civil manner.
