The new Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom restaurant at 3630 N. Reserve St. (in the old Johnny Carino's location) is partnering with a local nonprofit for a "soft opening" event.
From Wednesday to Friday this week during certain times, customers can eat for free, with the intention that they offer quality feedback to Old Chicago and make a donation to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Missoula. All donations and 100 percent of beverage sales will benefit the nonprofit, which matches children with positive role models and mentors. Currently, the program has 132 children matched and another 50 waiting for a couple or individuals to spend time with them.
Wednesday, from 7-8:30 p.m., enjoy complimentary appetizers from Old Chicago’s taproom. On Thursday and Friday, Old Chicago will be open from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and from 4-8 p.m. for lunch and dinner. Guest will get a complimentary meal. All soft opening times require an RSVP, as space is limited. Please RSVP at https://oldchicago.com/page/missoula.
"It won't be something you want to miss," said Big Brothers Big Sisters of Missoula CEO Danette Rector.
