OGDEN, Utah - Montana running back Chase Reynolds and safety Colt Anderson have been named players of the week by the Big Sky Conference for their performances in UM's 45-10 win over Northern Arizona Saturday.
Reynolds is the offensive player of the week while Anderson shared defensive honors with Montana State safety Kevin Retoriano. Montana State punter Eric Fisher is the special teams player of the week.
Reynolds rushed 12 times for a career-high 157 yards and three touchdowns Saturday, scoring on runs of 6, 37 and 67 yards.
Anderson picked off two passes and had seven tackles and two pass breakups in the Grizzlies' win over Northern Arizona. His first interception in the first quarter led to a UM touchdown while his second he returned 80 yards to the NAU 10, setting up a field goal.
Montana's special teams nominee was Tim Anderson, who blocked an NAU punt in the first half.
