BILLINGS - A 33-year-old Billings man who runs a medical marijuana business is being held on $50,000 bail after authorities said he had too many pot plants.
Prosecutors say a search turned up 26 marijuana plants at Douglas Daniel Medina Jr.'s house after the U.S. Marshal's Service arrested him for a probation violation Friday. Medina is only allowed to have six plants under state law.
He and his father run a business that does not sell marijuana but helps people file the state paperwork to become a legal medical marijuana patient.
