A woman was killed Wednesday morning when the car she was driving rolled over on Interstate 90 in far northwestern Granite County, authorities say.
The car was traveling westbound on I-90 near mile marker 135, about halfway between Drummond and Missoula, when it left the highway and rolled over around 8:50 a.m., said Granite County Sheriff Scott Dunkerson. No other vehicles were involved.

The female driver, who was the only one in the car, was ejected, Dunkerson said. Her name and hometown were not released pending notification of relatives.
Dunkerson said his department and the Montana Highway Patrol were still investigating the crash early Wednesday afternoon but road conditions might have played a part.
“The roads weren’t all that great,” he said. “It was pretty icy.”
