Donald Trump Jr. will be the keynote speaker at the Montana Republican Party's Platform Convention VIP Dinner in Billings later this month.
It will be the second campaign-related trip to Billings for President Donald Trump's oldest son in just over a year.
In a press release from the Matt Rosendale campaign with the headline "Trump Jr. Will Join Rosendale in Montana to Take on Tester," Rosendale is quoted as saying "I'm honored to have Trump Jr.'s support because he knows I'll back his father's agenda and will work with him to Make America Great Again."
A press release from the Montana Republican Party states that Trump is "coming back to Montana because he is energized by our U.S. Senate candidate, Matt Rosendale, and the opportunity we have to Take Out Tester in the fall!"
Rosendale defeated three other GOP senate candidates in last week's primary. Voters will choose between Rosendale and incumbent Democratic Sen. Jon Tester in the fall.
The dinner featuring Trump is scheduled for June 22 at 7 p.m at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center located at 1223 Mullowney Lane. Trump spoke at the same facility last April while campaigning for Greg Gianforte.
Senator Steve Daines and Rep. Greg Gianforte will also be at the dinner. Tickets are $100 per person.
