An evacuation order has been lifted for about 60 residents on Oral Zumwalt Way and the Upper Trail's End Road area south of Missoula.

Residents can now return to their homes, although all roads in the Upper Miller Creek area are open only to residents and wildland firefighters.

A wildfire ignited by lightning quickly covered 200 acres late Sunday night, and burned actively through the night in grass and timber east of Lolo and east of the Bitterroot River.

Cindy Super, a fire information officer for the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, said the western edge of the fire - the area most visible from Lolo - is burning in steep terrain with limited access.
