Good Friday morning, western Montana! Who's ready for the weekend? The National Weather Service says we have a 20 percent chance of rain this afternoon. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny and afternoon highs should reach 42 degrees.

Tonight's forecast calls for valley rain showers before 11, then a mix of rain and snow. Overnight lows will drop to the freezing mark, with easterly winds becoming calm after midnight. New snow accumulation shouldn't reach more than an inch.

Saturday: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. West southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. West northwest wind around 5 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 35. Calm wind.

Sunday Night: Patchy fog. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 21.

Monday: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 32.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 30.

Tuesday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17.

Wednesday: A slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22.

Thursday: A slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31.
