The Grammy-winning industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails will be performing in the University of Montana's Adams Center on Dec. 9, in its first-ever Missoula appearance. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m.

NIN has released eight studio albums, including the 1992 album "Broken," which earned the band two Grammys. The band's 1994 album, "The Downward Spiral," was labeled one of the greatest albums of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.

NIN released its newest album, "The Slip," in May. It can be downloaded from the band's Web site for free.

Tickets cost $43 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at GrizTix outlets.

Missoula will be the band's third-to-last stop on their "Lights in the Sky Over North America" tour.

The London-based group, The Bug, will open for the band.
