Good Monday morning, western Montana!
It's March 1, and we're marching back to work and school with sunny skies in the forecast.
But that's not the big news: The National Weather Service in Missoula says today's high could reach 57 degrees as a ridge of high pressure crests over western Montana and central Idaho.
That will bring "unseasonably warm" temperatures to the region for at least a couple of days. Tuesday's high should be around 55 degrees.
Tonight? Look for a low of about 29 degrees, as those clear skies allow things to cool down quickly.
Have a great day, soak up some of that sunshine, and check back with Missoulian.com for the latest news, sports and weather as the day progresses. We'll be here!
