Good Monday morning, western Montana!
Here's today's forecast from the National Weather Service in Missoula.
Expect rain this morning, as there's a 100 percent chance of precipitation.
Today's high temperature still should be 57. The wind will be blowing, though, with gusts up to 32 mph at times.
Tonight, look for more rain showers and a low around 37 degrees. Wind gusts could reach 23 mph overnight.
The Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for tonight, beginning at 6 p.m., for the Bitterroot and Sapphire mountains.
Lolo Pass is specifically mentioned in the advisory, which warns of locally heavy snowfall overnight.
You might want to avoid the pass, as forecasters expect low visibility and poor driving conditions there tonight.
Up to 8 inches of snow could fall on Lolo Pass between 6 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday. So take care if you're venturing there!
