BILLINGS - Three Montana wrestlers are scheduled to compete in the U.S. Olympic Wrestling Trials in Las Vegas this weekend.

Bill Zadick of Great Falls is seeded first in the freestyle challenge tournament at 145.5 pounds. If he wins the tournament, he will meet Doug Schwab in a best-of-three finals, with the winner advancing to the Beijing Olympics in August.

Tyrel Todd of Bozeman is seeded 11th in the challenge tournament at 185 pounds.

Mike Zadick of Great Falls is hoping for one of seven wild cards that FINA, wrestling's governing body, is giving out worldwide among the 18 Olympic weight classes in freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling.

Nobody met the qualifications for the best-of-three finals in the 132-pound weight class, in which Mike Zadick wrestles. The two wrestlers who make the finals of the Las Vegas tournament will meet in a best-of-three series. USA Wrestling officials have asked that whoever wins the Las Vegas qualifying tournament receive a wild card bid to the Olympics.
