BILLINGS - Billings police are investigating a break-in at a medical marijuana caregiver's office.

Green Cross employee Laurie Peterson said the vandals took two safes containing checks, cash and about $2,000 to $3,000 worth of marijuana. She found the damage Tuesday morning.

Peterson said Green Cross will have to get more marijuana from other caregivers in the area.

In May, attempts were made to set fires at two other Billings medical marijuana businesses. No one was injured in either case.
