GREAT FALLS - Montana Sen. Jon Tester will focus on security along the nation's northern border next week during a tour of northeastern Montana.

Tester will visit several towns and ports of entry Monday and Tuesday before chairing a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing in Havre Wednesday morning. The Havre session will be at Hensler Auditorium on the Montana State-Northern campus.

Tester will launch the tour by hosting a town hall meeting on northern border security at the Sheridan County Courthouse in Plentywood Monday morning.

Tester then will visit Scobey, Glasgow, Ft. Peck, Malta, Turner, Ft. Belknap and Harlem.

The tour will include looks at the Port of Raymond, the Malta U.S. Border Patrol station, the Port of Scobey, the Port of Turner and the headquarters of the U.S. Border Patrol's Havre sector.
