BILLINGS — An eastbound freight train collided with a truck carrying a load of sugar beets in Hysham, injuring the driver.
Dennis Kolb, owner of Kolb Brothers Farms, says his driver suffered several cracked vertebrae in the collision Sunday morning. He was taken to the hospital in Billings.
BNSF Railway spokesman Matt Jones says no BNSF employees were injured in the collision.
Jones says the railroad and local law enforcement are investigating.
