Good Tuesday morning, western Montana! The National Weather Service says we will see sunshine and smoky skies today, as afternoon temperatures warm to 77 degrees. Winds will start the day from the west southwest at 6-11 mph, then shift to the north northwest in the afternoon.

Tonight's forecast calls for continued patches of smoke and a low of 49. Winds will shift to the west, then to the south southeast overnight.

Wednesday: Areas of smoke. Sunny, with a high near 85. East southeast wind around 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: Areas of smoke. Clear, with a low around 54. West northwest wind 6 to 10 mph becoming south southwest after midnight.

Thursday: Areas of smoke. Sunny, with a high near 86. South wind 5 to 11 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 72.

Friday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, then a chance of showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41.

Saturday: A chance of showers before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 69.
