The inaugural Veteran Suicide Awareness and Prevention or VSAP-22 walk/run will be held Sunday, May 22, in Missoula. The event will start at 9 a.m. at the Missoula County Fairgrounds. VSAP-22 is a 22-kilometer team or individual run to raise awareness about the veteran suicide.
The Missoula Vet Center, Montana VA and local Department of Public Health and Human Services will have resource booths set up at the event. Booth space for veteran organizations is available. VFW Post 209 will provide a free barbecue for participants and supporters.
