KALISPELL – A 27-year-old Whitefish woman died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle car crash Friday night.

The woman was driving a Chevrolet TrailBlazer westbound on Hodgson Road near its intersection with Trumble Creek Road north of Kalispell around 7:45 p.m. Friday. The Montana Highway Patrol said that according to witnesses, she lost control while passing other vehicles on the icy road, went off the road and rolled over.

She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead after being taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Two minors also were in the vehicle, but only sustained minor injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
