The Parenting Place (formerly known as the Child and Family Resource Council) needs volunteers for its Parent Aide program.
Parent aides will work with families to help develop social supports and strengthen family ties.

Vendors are being sought for the 22nd annual Bitter Root Days celebration in Hamilton next month.
The fee for a vendor is $15 for a 10-by-10 space for members of the Bitter Root Valley Historical Society and $20 for nonmembers. A few electrical outlets are available for an additional $5. Commercial food vendors will be charged $35.
The celebration will be Saturday and Sunday, June 9-10, at the Ravalli County Museum. An expanded Farmer's Market will be part of the event. Farmers, bakers, artists and craft persons will participate.

The Salvation Army, Missoula Corps, has received a $33,000 grant from the Thomas L. Williams Trust. The money will be used to support planning of programs for Missoula.
