It’s rare when a vote for justice of the peace is this easy to make. I can say confidently Alex Beal would serve that position with great professionalism and fairness while it’s obvious his opponent, Marie Andersen, has proven to be unqualified for the position she now holds.

Judge Beal, whom I've known for 20 years, is intelligent, empathetic and thoughtful. He’s someone I'm proud to know whose personal attributes are a litany of the qualities I want in a justice of the peace. He understands the seriousness and importance of the job he's running for and how it impacts some of the most vulnerable people in our community. He wants fairness for them and knows the best ways to accomplish that is through a thoughtful empathetic temperament and efficient courtroom administration.

His opponent, in stark contrast, has shown embarrassing incompetence in how her courtroom is run, from a high turnover rate with staff to seemingly rash decisions such as dismissing a domestic violence case for no justifiable reason.

It is sometimes difficult to make voting decisions about judges. But this time, it’s an easy one to make. Please fix our Justice Court and vote for Alex Beal.
