Capitol stormed by foreign troops first

The media — radio, television, print — have been equating the storming of the U.S. Capitol as the second time in our history, the first in the War of 1812. In 1814 towards the end of the war, the British captured Washington, D.C., and with British troops, not a domestic mob as we have seen on TV, etc., burned the Capitol and the White House.
