A new poll from Yale shows that 72 percent of Americans believe climate change is important to them personally, more than ever before.

It can feel like there is still a debate going on about climate change because of the messaging coming from our government, but the reality is that most of us are on the same page: We’re worried about climate change and we want solutions.

As we all come together on this issue, Congress will have to respond. A bipartisan bill to address climate change was reintroduced to the House on last Thursday, with both Democrat and Republican co-sponsors. The bill is called the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act.

With public concern about climate change at an all-time high, this is the perfect time for us to act and reach out to our representatives to ask them to support this bill so we can be part of the solution.
