To the Lisa Triepke campaign:
My impression is there are many Missoulians who would support a candidate for mayor who will put the brakes on endless tax increases, the lip service paid to housing affordability, and need for debate and transparency in city governance. But a mayoral campaign is not going to win by complaining about a large portion of the city electorate, griping about things the city has no control over (how much the university pays professors, airfare costs!) or running against open space.
If you have a message concerning how to address changing the course of the city's future for the better, we need to hear it.
If Wes Spiker's guest column (Sept. 13) was a clear reflection of your campaign, good luck!
