A well-known "alternative facts" teller joins a radical anti-abortion fanatic to disparage U.S. Sen. Jon Tester because he chose not to pass federal legislation over-riding state's rights regarding abortion (guest column, Feb. 24).
Tester believes that Montana citizens can make intelligent decisions without D.C. input. Unlike cowardly U.S. Sen. Steve Daines, Tester faces his constituents in person. He listens to their concerns regarding support of our monuments, aiding our veterans at every turn, keeping our wilderness study areas wild, and honoring our firefighters and police departments.
While you two want to control every woman's choice, where are your cries about irresponsible men who run away? Your senator voted to cut Medicaid and wants to send food boxes to prevent single moms who chose to bear their children from buying anything "fancy" which does not meet his approval. Daines pocketed a huge tax cut while deeply cutting this program.
Jeff Laszloffy and Marjorie Dannenfelser, shame on you for not fighting Daines' decision. Hypocrites, all of you.
Editor, did this biased opinion deserve a very dramatic 3/4-inch-type title? I am surprised these two were rewarded for their vitriol.
I don't have a fancy title. I am just a Montana voter and taxpayer. Senator Tester, you serve us well.
