On May 6, a hate-filled, vile, name-calling letter vilifying President Trump was written by Jerry O'Malley. The poor man is obviously suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), likely caused by excess exposure to the 100% anti-Trump lies, half-truths and misrepresentations spewed daily by CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, etc.
Victims of TDS are unable to fathom the progress made by the Trump administration in just two years: record low unemployment, record high stock market value, higher wages, lower taxes, 300% greater economic growth than Barack Obama predicted, renegotiation of unfair trade agreements, reduced burdensome regulations, elimination of the unfair individual mandate of Obamacare, stronger military, just to name a few.
O'Malley has undoubtedly benefited from these changes. Rational Americans recognize that, unlike most politicians, Trump is not beholden to lobbyists or special interests.
Freedom to express dissent is a treasured right we should always have. However, using it for hateful character assassination reflects only ignorance and stupidity.
It is unprecedented and dangerous to the future of our country to have collusion between the Democratic Party and mainstream media directed at impairing, demonizing and delegitimizing a constitutionally elected president.
