Raffle Rules and Restrictions

Tickets cannot be sold out of the geographical confines of the State of Montana. Participants must be 18 or older to enter the raffle and be eligible for prizes. Only one (1) individual may be identified as the purchaser (or buyer) of the raffle ticket.

Grand prize is One-half of a pig, processed and a Weber Spirit II E-210. 2nd Prize is One-half of a pig, processed. 3rd Prize is one of two $100 Gift Cards. 4th Prize is one of twenty $50 Gift Cards. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5/$20. Checks that are denied or returned for insufficient funds or other reasons will be subject to a $25 penalty and the ticket will be void until cash or a money order is received to cover said ticket.

The raffle drawing will be held September 14, 2018. You need not be present to win. Winners' names will be published in the Missoulian after the raffle and notified by phone or email. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide a valid phone number or email address for notification. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days. Odds of winning will depend on final number of tickets sold. Net proceeds of the raffle to benefit the Missoula 4-H and Newspaper in Education program.

There will be no substitution or cash alternatives for any prize. Participation in the raffle and the prize awarded is non-transferable. Failure to collect the prize within 30-days after notification constitutes forfeiture of the prize. If prize is forfeited, another winner will be selected.

Each prize is subject to, and each prize winner is fully responsible for, any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize. Raffle tickets are not redeemable for cash.

Limit: one (1) prize per person.
