LOLO - Edgar E. Dishman, 81, of Lolo, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2001, at St. Patrick Hospital of natural causes.
He was born on Dec. 25, 1919, in Florence, the son of Ora and Erma (Jones) Dishman. Ed attended Lowell Grade School and graduated from Superior High School in 1939.
He worked for the Civil Aeronautics Authority prior to enlisting in the U.S. Navy. Ed was aboard the USS Oklahoma in Pearl Harbor when it was attacked on Dec. 7, 1941. He saw at lot of action in the Pacific, Atlantic and the Mediterranean during World War II.
Ed worked for several years as a bartender. He also worked as a tree farmer and with pneumatic drills for the Butte Motor Co. Ed retired in 1980 from the Civil Service as a tool room mechanic. He belonged to the Soloma County Peace Officers Association and was a lifetime member of the DAV and the VFW.
Ed is survived by one brother, Clifton Dishman of Lolo; one sister, May O'Conner of Wickenberg, Ariz.; a stepson, Greg Dishman of Santa Rosa, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Graveside services with full military honors will be 4 p.m. Monday at the Florence-Carlton Cemetery. There will be a reception following at 5885 Sun Valley Road in Florence.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory in Missoula.
WARREN, Pa. - Dr. Terry O. Lympus, 56, of Warren, Pa., passed away Friday, July 13, 2001, at his home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1944, in Missoula to Oskar and Gladys Stevens Lympus.
He was a graduate of Missoula County High School class of 1962 and attended the University of Pennsylvania in 1962. He was a graduate of the University of Montana class of 1966 and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in 1970. He practiced dentistry in Warren for the past 31 years.
He married Maureen A. Rumble on March 31, 1989, in Smethport, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Shane O. Lympus, Winchester, Va., Ryan J. Lympus of Honolulu, Kevin O. Lympus and Daniel O. Lympus of the family home; brother Honorable Ted O. Lympus of Kalispell; and granddaughter Clare O. Lympus of Winchester, Va.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church in Warren with the Rev. Canon Richard Baker, retired Episcopal priest, officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.

KALISPELL - Elizabeth Marie "Betty" Hanson, 87, passed away at Immanuel Lutheran Home on Thursday, July 12, 2001.
Betty was born on Aug. 28, 1913, in McKenzie County, N.D., to Magnus and Mary Fredrickson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Walter Maze in 1967, second husband Harold Hanson in 1986 and a son, Larry.
She is survived by two daughters, Arlyss Radabah and Karen Seelye, both of Kalispell; one son, Wesley Maze of Great Falls; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Home with the Rev. Peter Ramseth officiating.
