HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) -- Ryan Dobson had four hits and scored four runs, and Kenny Hernandez allowed just one hit over five innings as the Hillsboro Hops defeated the Tri-City Dust Devils 11-0 on Wednesday.

Hernandez (2-1) picked up the win after he struck out four and walked one.

Hillsboro went up 4-0 in the fifth after Joey Rose hit an RBI double and then scored on a single by Jake McCarthy.

The Hops punctuated the blowout with four runs in the seventh and three in the eighth. In the seventh, Jose Caballero hit a solo home run, while Rose hit a two-run home run in the eighth.

Adrian Martinez (0-2) went five innings, allowing four runs and 10 hits in the Northwest League game. He also struck out two and walked one.

The Dust Devils were held off the scoreboard for the second time this season, while the Hops' staff recorded their third shutout of the year.
