FARMINGTON, Utah – Montana State guard Harald Frey and Montana forward Sayeed Pridgett have been chosen to the 2019-20 Big Sky Conference men's basketball preseason all-Conference team, the league announced on Wednesday.
Frey earned second-team honors last season after setting career highs in points per game (17.2), assists (5.0) and rebounds (4.5). The native of Oslo, Norway, finished third in the Big Sky in assists per game and fourth in scoring.
Frey enters the 2019-20 season with 1,374 points, the 12th most in program history. He is also third in 3-point field goals (209), fifth in assists (372) and sits just outside the top 10 in free throws (297).
Frey's resume also includes the Big Sky Freshman of the Year honors after the 2016-17 season.

Pridgett, a native of Oakland, California, was first-team all-league a year ago while surpassing the 1,000-point threshold for his career while averaging 15.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Pridgett shot 60.5 percent from the field and 46.3 from 3-point range.
Weber State's Jerrick Harding is the preseason MVP. Also selected are Portland State's Holland Woods and Eastern Washington's Mason Peatling and Jacob Davison.
Montana State opens the 2019-20 season Nov. 5 against Utah State. Montana, which has won back-to-back regular-season and conference titles, opens Nov. 6 at Stanford.
