MISSOULA — Former Montana Grizzlies defensive end Tyrone Holmes signed with the Los Angeles Chargers' practice squad, the team announced on Wednesday.

Holmes joins the Los Angeles organization as a linebacker and checks in at 6-foot-2, 253 pounds. He spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons with the Cleveland Browns, totaling nine tackles and one sack in 15 games.

At Montana, Holmes was the STATS FCS Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, his senior season. He also made four All-America teams.
