Loyola Sacred Heart senior Pat Jensen has signed to play basketball at Montana State Northern in Havre, men's coach Shawn Huse announced Wednesday.
Jensen, a 6-foot-7 smooth-shooting forward, led the Rams to a 19-7 record this past season averaging 17.5 points and six rebounds per game.
"On the court he is a very good perimeter shooter for guy his size who can rebound and score in and around the paint as well," Huse said. "With maturity and experience, he really could be a premiere Frontier Conference player very soon."
Jensen was voted to the all-state team as well as the all-tourney team at the State B tournament in early March. He also is a three-time member of the academic all-state team.
Coach Huse and the Lights lost five seniors to graduation this season. They finished 9-5 in league play and 22-10 overall.
