Caden Harkins, right, and Jaxen Hashley of Kalispell Glacier and Morgan Hostetler, left, of Bozeman go after a loose ball during the title game of the State AA boys' tournament in Great Falls on Saturday.

Kalispell Glacier's Jaxen Hashley and Helena's Kamden Hilborn were honored as MVPs of their respective State AA boys' and girls' basketball tournaments last weekend in Great Falls, as voted by members of the media.

Hashley scored just eight points in his team's championship win over Bozeman, but he had monster double-doubles in each of his first two games of the tournament at Four Seasons Arena. He had 15 points and 17 rebounds in Glacier's opening win over Billings West, then helped down Billings Skyview with 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Hilborn scored 13 points in a win over Missoula Sentinel. She tied teammate Jamie Pickens with 65 total balloting points, but had five first-place selections to Pickens's one. Hashley had 77 total points and six first-place selections.

Jordyn Schweyen, Kylie Frohlich and Emma Blakely were selected from the Sentinel girls.

Missoula Hellgate's Rollie Worster and Sam Beighle of Missoula Sentinel were chosen for the boys' all-tournament team.
