Heavy snowfall throughout Montana has led to perilous driving conditions and a slew of high school activity cancellations Thursday, though few of them involve teams west of the Continental Divide.

Among schools in far west Montana, only the Clark Fork girls' basketball game at Wallace, Idaho has been called off so far. A wrestling mixer in Arlee will go on as scheduled, though Clark Fork is also opting out of that event. Clark Fork is a cooperative between Superior and Alberton school districts.

Cancellations were far more common around central and eastern Montana with schools in Great Falls, Helena, Bozeman and Billings all postponing prep games Thursday and beyond.
