At Great Falls, the Knights got loose for 27 first-quarter points and then rode their opening cushion to a nonconference Class AA victory.

Hellgate (3-0) connected on nine 3-pointers, including three from Devin Bray and two more each from Tres Tinkle and Rhett Baerlocher. Tinkle finished with 24 points and Baerlocher chipped in 16.

Brendan Howard's 25 points for the Bison (1-2) led all players while Lukas Vining added 14 and Jake Wetzel 13.

But GFH only had five players score against the much deeper Knights.
