FLORENCE - Corbin Newbary, Cody Lund and the Florence football team ran all over Darby in a District 6-B game Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons gobbled up 345 yards on the ground in earning the league win 56-12.
Lund ran 11 times for 124 yards and three second-half touchdowns for Florence, which improved to 2-0 in District 6-B and 4-1 overall. The Falcons will get their toughest league test on Oct. 16 when they travel to Missoula's Rollin Field to take on Loyola Sacred Heart.
Newbary had a 2-yard touchdown run, ran back a kickoff 85 yards for another score and caught a 3-yard scoring pass from Spencer Burns. Florence totaled 133 yards in the air.
The Falcons also got interceptions from Cody McLean and Luke Zeiler.
Dalton Roundy was responsible for both of Darby's scores. He ran back a kickoff 98 yards in the first half for a touchdown and caught a 25-yard TD pass from Aaron Johnson in the third quarter. The Tigers fell to 0-2, 1-4.

At Victor, Chance Firestone and Chico Stipe each rushed for two scores in leading ninth-ranked Charlo over Victor in a Western C game.
Stipe had a 40-yard touchdown run and an 11-yarder to put the Vikings up 26-0 in the opening quarter.
Charlo's Austin Bauer also scored a pair of TDs, one on an 8-yard pass from Stipe. Stipe also hit Jame Petersen on a 23-yard pass play to help put the Vikings (4-1) up 46-0 by halftime.
No other individual statistics were reported.
Victor dropped to 1-5 on the season.
