HAVRE – Luke May scored four total touchdowns as Whitefish picked up the nonconference Class A road win 27-14 over the Blue Ponies on Saturday.
Whitefish (1-0) never trailed as May got the Bulldogs on the board first with a 46-yard touchdown pass to Jed Nagler in the first quarter. Nagler finished the game with 154 receiving yards on six receptions.
Chris Park had 109 yards on the ground on 10 carries to even out the Bulldogs’ offense and also added a 19-yard score on his only catch.
Dane Warp threw a pair of TDs as Havre (0-1) answered both of Whitefish’s two early scores, but Brian FauntLeRoy caught the go-ahead TD from May in the third quarter and then the quarterback gave Whitefish an insurance score when he snuck in from a yard out for his final touchdown.
May completed 14 of 22 passes for 253 yards and had three scoring strikes to zero interceptions.

Columbia Falls 47, Lewistown 7
At Lewistown, Dakota Bridwell threw for 309 yards and five touchdowns to lead Columbia Falls’ rout of Lewistown in a non-conference Class A game.
Three touchdowns went to Ty Morgan, who had scoring catches of 62, 15 and 20 yards. Morgan caught 11 passes for 263 yards.
Trevor Houston and Gabby Deloime also had TD catches, while Ike Schweikert and Wyatt Green had scoring runs for the Wildcats.
Columbia Falls out-gained the Eagles 572-211.

At Libby, Zach Crace ran for 210 yards and a touchdown and Dom Voorhies threw for another score to lead the host Loggers over Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Libby outgained Bonners Ferry 420-143 in total yardage, and the Badgers’ lone score came on an interception return with 7:49 left in the game.
Voorhies was 4 of 10 passes for 136 yards – 82 of those coming on a TD pass to Erik Lauer.
David Winter rushed 16 times for 63 yards for Libby, and had a TD. Crace carried the ball 37 times, and had a 16-yard scoring run in the first quarter.
